Christy Luan Duvall-Young

Christy Luan Duvall-Young, 54, of New Castle, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022. She was born November 16, 1967 in New Castle the daughter of Robert Duvall and Mary (Thatcher) Stonebraker.
Christy was a graduate of New Castle High School. She worked at Goodwill for many years and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as a safety officer. Christy was also a residential CRF as a home health aide. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, NASCAR, and her cat George. She will be missed by many childhood/long life friends.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Stonebraker; two children, Leah Moore and Christopher Moore; grandchildren, Jaxon Fox, Ella Moore and Colten Moore; companion, Marty Roswell; siblings, Bobby Williams, Lisa Williams, Cindy York, Debbie Wallace, Kimi Walters (Jay Chapman), Robin Poore and Susan Guinn; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Gavin Moore; brother, Michael Williams; grandparents, Charles and Opal Thatcher; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, February 11, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christy Luan Duvall-Young Memorial Fund, c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 S Memorial Drive, New Castle, IN 47362.
