Clayton Logan, 85, of Knightstown, passed away April 30, 2020 at his residence. He was born April 5, 1935 in Flemingsburg, KY the son of William Russell Logan and Ollie Cleo (Zornes) Rayburn.
Clayton worked as a road construction worker for many years before starting Logan’s Excavating Company, which he owned and operated for several years. He loved hunting, fishing and in his younger years, he enjoyed working with his cousins on race cars that they raced at Mt. Lawn and Anderson Speedways. Clayton loved spending time with his family and his companion, Evelyn.
He is survived by his companion, Evelyn Stockton; three daughters, Brenda Hager, Tina Logan, Joddie (Joey) Crosby; son-in-law, Richard Back; 10 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Julie Logan; a daughter, Rita Ann Back and a sister, Lavon Stevens.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2020 at Glen Cove Cemetery with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. You may share condolences or memories of Clayton at www.hinsey-brown.com .
