Clifford A. Kidd, 74, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Henry Community Health. He was born March 31, 1946 in Vincennes, IN to the late Jimmie and Aline (Tweedy) Kidd.
Clifford retired from Visteon Corp. in Connersville and loved attending the Pentecostal church. He was a very caring person and he never met a stranger. Clifford enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, bowling and traveling, especially going on cruises.
Survivors include three children: Kim (Brian) Clemons of Decatur, IN, Lisa (Terry) Bevans and Allen (Tracy) Johnson, both of New Castle; nine grandchildren: Brian Allen (Stephanie) Clemons, Kenny (Samantha) Clemons, Jason Bevans, Eric (Christy) Bevans, Kalie (Kyle) Ellis, Josh (Sierra) Johnson, Janell (Michael) Lephew, Justin (Kortany) Johnson and Brandon Trieshman; several great-grandchildren; a brother: Billy Kidd of Texas; a sister-in-law: Violet (Gerald) Kissick of New Castle; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years: Evelyn Joyce Kidd, whom he married October 21, 1995; a daughter: Debbie Trieschman; brother-in-law: Otis Denney; great-granddaughter: Paige Lynn Clemons.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 with Bob Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the service. Due to Covid-19 and the governor’s mandate, face coverings will be required. Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 620 Sea Island, Suite 288, St. Simons Island, GA 31523.
