Danny L. Clifton

Danny L. Clifton, 82 of Indianapolis and formerly of New Castle passed away Monday, February 8, 2021, at Hooverwood Living in Indianapolis. He was born November 18, 1938 in New Castle, Indiana, son of the late Arthur B. and Dorothy (Croft) Clifton.

He retired from Becker Brothers in 2001 after 15 years of service and previously worked at Marsh for two years and The Courier Times for 13 years. Danny was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He attended First Bible Free Will Baptist Church in New Castle and spent many hours studying his Bible. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and formerly owned Wayside Aquarium Shop in New Castle. Danny was an avid roller skater in his younger years and collected American Indian memorabilia.

Survivors include his 2 daughters, Dana (Rocky) Thomas of Indianapolis and Dawna (KhemRaj) Upadhyay of Nepal; former wife, Sharon Clifton of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Allison Thomas, Reuben, Eliaz and Sangita Upadhyay.

Private graveside services will be held at South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition, Legion Square in New Castle. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
