Danny Ray Patrick, 68, of Dunreith, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born August 28, 1953 in Portsmouth, OH, a son of the late Archie and June (Slusher) Patrick.
Danny retired from Avery Denison following several years of service. An avid muscle car enthusiast, he enjoyed social media, and the legacy that he leaves is his love for his family. He thoroughly enjoyed 60’s and 70’s music, and could name any tune from that era. An avid NASCAR fan, Danny also was known to be a practical jokester and he loved his cat, Bella.
He is survived by his three children, Byron (Kaycie) Patrick of Middletown, Brandy Patrick of Dunreith, and Bradley (Amanda) Patrick of Dixon Springs, TN; five grandchildren, Gavin Patrick, Gabrielle Patrick, Damon Norfleet, Simon Heasty, and Josha Hampton; three siblings, Carolyn (Bill) Logan of Straughn, Ronald Patrick of Floral City, FL, and Linda (Kenny) York of New Castle; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Rev. George Maloyed, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2022 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Pat’s Cat Care, c/o Henry County Animal Shelter, 11 Midway Dr., New Castle, IN 47362.
