Donald Davis Estes, 86, of New Castle, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at The Waters of New Castle. He was born June 27, 1933 in Yorktown, a son of the late Paul Davis and Sallie (Clark) Estes.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Donald served on the USS Boxer during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed in Japan and Korea.
He is survived by four children, Dawn Thompson of Daleville, Danny Estes of Muncie, Kim Estes of Redding, CA, and Lisa Kircher of Redding, CA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
At Donald’s request, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In his memory, his family requests that you perform an act of kindness for someone.
