Edithann Mercer, 82, of New Castle passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born May 30, 1937 in New Castle to the late Richard and Mildred (Keesling) Kalk.
Edithann is survived by her children, Carrie Mercer, Alan (Julie) Mercer, Vickie (Rob) Reno, Mark (Cindy) Mercer, Tracie (Mark) Young; grandchildren, Jennifer (Alan) Lambert, Stephanie (James) Shaw, Megan (Nick) Politi, Carla Kissick, Jeremy Kissick, Sarah Kissick, Rachel Reno, Stephanie Cross, Jessica Mercer and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; granddaughter, Katherine Green; and a great granddaughter, Laney Marie Goble.
Per Edithann’s request, there will be no public services held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Edithann at www.hinsey-brown.com .
