Effie Jean Troxell

Mrs. Effie Jean (Jones) Troxell left this world & found peace Friday Jan. 28th 2022. She was born June 28th 1938 in Cooper, KY to Sherman & Dorothy (Watson) Jones.
She was a good wife, mother, high school graduate, talented interior decorator & entrepreneur. She worked hard all her life & touched the lives of many through 12 years of foster parenting & her diligent work as a longtime member of the New Castle Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved her husband of 67 years, children, & grandchildren, flower beds & gardening.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Troxell, her 2 sons Marty A. Troxell & John (wife Gayle) Troxell, 2 foster children who were like her own, Brittany Blasdel & Derric Salser, her sister Jane Davis, 5 grandchildren, Joni Williams, Carrianne Williams, Dakota Williams, Dustin Troxell, Tupelo Troxell, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Sherman Jones, mother Dorothy Jones, 2 sisters, Alice Chapman, Avo Wallace, 3 brothers, James Jones, Howard Jones, Willard Jones, her only daughter Melissa Troxell & a grand daughter Amanda Troxell. She is missed greatly already.
