Eleanor Mae Dorning, 94 of Shirley passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at her residence. She was born August 1, 1927 in Covington, Kentucky a daughter of the late Carl and Eleanor (Molique) Hinkle. Eleanor was a current member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and other organizations through the church. Survivors include her children, Pam (Bob) Garczewski, Pat (Gary) Lay, Ron (Norma) Dorning and Tom (Heather) Dorning; siblings, Sylvia Salzman and Carl Hinkle; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dorning; a sister Ruth; grandson, TJ and a granddaughter, Monica. There will be no public services at this time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Susan G.
