Euell R. Bowling Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Euell R. Bowling, 83, of Springport passed away Friday September 24, 2021 at Henry Community Health. He was born on January 6, 1938 in Bath County, KY, a son of the late Clint and Marie (Tripplett) Bowling. Euell was a very respected man and friend to many. He began serving the Courier Times at the age of 16 and was a route carrier for 60 years before retiring. Euell was an avid coon hunter and horse trader. Euell is survived by his wife of 65 years, Freda Bowling; children, Randy (Candace) Bowling of Losantville, Brian (Lisa) Bowling of Bluffton, Jane Baugh of Springport; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Denny (Lucinda) Bowling of North Webster, Wanda (Mike) Reiff of Warsaw and Sam (Sandi) Bowling of Pierceton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Euell was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Stephens; great grandson, Benson Bowling; sister, Mona Drumm; brother, Joe Bowling and son-in-law, Bruce Baugh. Services will be held at 1:00pm Friday October, 1 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Springport. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Friday.
