Fumiko Kuhn, 81, of New Castle passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at her home. She was born February 4, 1937 in Okinawa, Japan to the late Kiki and Kama Shimabuku.
Fumiko enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking but mostly, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Etsuko (Lowell) Jarvis of Dunreith, Karen (Thad) Kissick of Muncie, Jerry (Becky) Kuhn of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Adam Jarvis, Breanna (Shun) Cameron, Vanessa Kuhn, Isabelle Kuhn, Judah Kuhn, Maddox Kuhn; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Cameron and Kenzie Cameron; siblings, Toshi Arata, Kiku Goya, Shoei Higa, Kazuko Kleynen, Mitsuko Shimabuku, Seizen Shimabuku, Seiki Shimabuku all of Okinawa, Japan; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Kuhn; siblings, Zensho Shimabuku, Hideko Kinjo and Shozen Shimabuku.
Services will at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition.
