Gregory "Greg" J. Hawkins

Gregory “Greg” J. Hawkins, 60, of New Castle passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at The Waters of New Castle. He was born August 4, 1961 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of the late Elmer and Anna Belle (Choate) Hawkins, Jr.
Greg had been employed by the City of New Castle. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, the Colts and Pacers.
Survivors include his companion, Minnie Garces of New Castle; two sons, Adam Hawkins-Butler of Greenfield and Andy Hawkins of Olatha, Kansas; and a brother Robert (Betty) Darling.
In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by two brothers, James “Jim” and John Hawkins.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Pastor Danny Goddard officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery in Hagerstown. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Thursday and the funeral home. You may express condolences or share a memory of Greg at www.hinsey-brown.com .
