Irven E. Waterman

Irven E. Waterman, 93, of Knightstown passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at Brickyard Healthcare Brandywine in Greenfield. He was born March 25, 1929 in Indianapolis the son of Elmore and Henrietta (Ostermeyer) Waterman.

Irven retired from Ford Motor Company following 30 years of service. He enjoyed working on anything mechanical. He enjoyed his bowling league and loved to help his family. He especially loved his grandchildren and supported them in sporting events and many school activities. Irven always enjoyed family outings, especially the holidays.

He is survived by a son, David (Denise) Waterman; a daughter, Nancy (Tom) Muir; son, Scott (Connie) Waterman; grandchildren, Heather, Tracy, Jason, Jessica, Nicole and Lori; one brother, Melvin Waterman; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Buckner; two brothers, Donald and Russell Waterman.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Hinsey Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Roger Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Carthage.
