Isaac "Ike" Henry Caudill

Isaac “Ike'' Henry Caudill, 91, passed away Tuesday, December 29th in Winchester, KY. He was born on April 17, 1929 in Morehead, KY to the late Charles Caudill, Sr. and Ida Quisenberry Caudill.

After a career in manufacturing management at Chrysler Corporation and Rockwell International, Ike became a mail carrier and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was also a member of Christ Church of Winchester. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Belinda, and a son, Isaac, Jr. as well as five brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Richilieu, a daughter, Debra (William) Preston of Winchester, a son, Michael N. Caudill of Winchester, a daughter-in-law, Denise Caudill, Rio Rancho, NM, seven grandchildren, Sara (Sam) Dunn, Winchester, Todd (Marina) Preston, Altadena, CA, Andrew (Amanda) Preston, Lexington, Nelson (Melodee) Caudill, Winchester, Jennifer Caudill, Seattle, WA, Laura (Jesse) Thompson, Rio Rancho, NM, and Shane Caudill, San Francisco, He is also survived by one sister, Anna (Maurice) Lewman, Knightstown, IN, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, KY 40391 or to Christ Church of Winchester, 1691 Ironworks Road, Winchester, KY 40391.
