Iva R. Browning, 82, of Fortville, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Brandywine Golden Living Center in Greenfield. She was born September 15, 1938 in Moss, TN the daughter of Robert and Dolly (Moore) Green.
Iva was a member of Park Avenue Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Fred Browning whom she married May 19, 1956; son, Ronnie (Kathy) Browning, Mitchell Browning (Joe Harrell) and Mike Browning; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy Browning; seven brothers and three sisters.
Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will be in Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville. Visitation will be from 12 noon until time of service. Due to Covid-19 and the governor’s mandate, face coverings will be required.
