Janet S. Vaccaro

Janet S. Vaccaro, 78, of Kennard, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born April 4, 1942 in Kennard a daughter of Homer and Lois (Kendall) Hummel.
Janet retired from Ameriana Savings Bank in New Castle in 2004 after 39 years of service. She was an member of Kennard Friends Church, Greensboro Order of the Eastern Star and the Rainbow Girls. Janet enjoyed sewing and embroidering, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family get-togethers.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Anthony J. Vaccaro of Kennard; son, Michael Vaccaro (Lora Lawyer) of Middletown; daughter, Susie (David) Bundy of Knightstown; four grandchildren, Erin Bundy, Taylor Vaccaro, Adam Bundy and Anthony Vaccaro; great grandson; Easton Gasho; sister, Linda Stoots of PA; and several nieces and nephews that she was close to.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private graveside service will be held for the family at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Glen Cove Cemetery. Due to covid 19, please practice appropriate safety measures. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kennard Friends Church, PO Box 186, Kennard, IN 47351. Condolences and memories of Janet may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
