Jarred K. Burke

Jarred K. Burke, 24, of New Castle, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017.

He was born February 4, 1993 in New Castle to Kenny and Brandie (Brewster) Burke.

Jarred graduated from Blue River Valley High School where he wrestled, and played baseball and basketball. He was employed as a floor installer with Smith’s Carpet in Spiceland. Jarred loved fishing and working on cars. “If it had a motor, he liked working on it”, stated his family.

He leaves behind, his parents, Kenny and Brandie Burke of New Castle; his son, Jadyn Burke, his fiancé and Jadyn’s mother, Lindsay Stearns, two brothers, Tyler Burke, Drew Burke (fiancé, Jordan Beckner), a sister, Kinnah Burke, all of New Castle; a niece, Delilah Burke of New Castle; maternal grandmother, Linda Brewster of New Castle; paternal grandfather, Jim Burke of New Castle; maternal great grandfather, Virgil Kelley, Sr. of New Castle; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ronnie Brewster; paternal grandmother, Ruth Ann Burke; maternal great grandmother, Donna Kelley; aunt, Jama Burke, and uncle, Jerry Gray.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Jadyn Burke Fund, c/o Perfect Circle Credit Union, 2306 S.
