Jason Anton Lopez

Jason Anton Lopez, 44, of Spiceland passed away Friday morning, April 16, 2021 at his residence. He was born November 13, 1976 in Edison, New Jersey, a son of the late Manuel and Cheryl (Ulman) Lopez.

Jason was currently employed at INTAT in Rushville for over 6 years. He moved to Indiana 12 years ago from New Jersey where he worked as an HVAC technician. He continued to work as an HVAC technician until starting his employment at INTAT. He was a member of Spiceland Church of the Nazarene. Jason loved fishing and most enjoyed night fishing with his buddies from work. He loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Sarah Lopez of Spiceland; 5 sons, Collin Jesse Lopez, Daniel Jeffrey Lopez, Ean Joshua Lopez, Benjamin James Lopez and Jeremiah Jason Lopez; one daughter, Lillian Jeanette Lopez all of Spiceland; brother, James (Rachel) Lopez of Pennsylvania; sister, Joyce (companion: Rick Barron) Lopez of New Castle; and a niece, Michaela Barron of New Castle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Lopez.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Josh Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland.
