Jeffery G Harp

Jeffery “Jeff” G. Harp, 46, of New Castle passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial in Muncie. He was born November 20, 1975 in Muncie, Indiana, a son of Robert and Tonna (Surber) Harp.
Jeff received his high school degree from New Castle High School. He had been employed by the following factories over the years: Eaton, LKQ and most recently, TS Tech. He was also a certified underwater diver and welder. Jeff enjoyed all kinds of music, his favorite being 80’s & 90’s big hair bands. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and especially bird watching the Cardinals on his property. Jeff loved motorcycles, doing maintenance on cars, and was a great artist. He also loved spending outdoors and his involvement with the Boy Scouts with his late son, Charlie. Jeff also enjoyed basketball and soccer. Most of all, Jeff was a family man and they were the most important part of his life.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his wife of 12 years, Stacy Harp of New Castle; children, Tazia Williams of Homer, Paige Harp of York, South Carolina and MacKenzie Harp of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jayden Williams, Syre Williams, CharLee Williams, and one on the way; sister, Angela Harp of New Castle; nephew, Brant Bouslog of New Castle; several cousins, mother-in-law, Marsha Cline of Greenwood and good friend, Betty Goble of New Castle.
In addition to his father, Robert Harp, Jeff was preceded in death a son, Charlie Harp; paternal grandparents, Carl & Jane Harp; maternal grandparents, Earl and Madge Surber; father-in-law, Allen Cline and brother-in-law, Anthony Cline.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Brian Neal and Donnie Pyle officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Summit Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
