Jesse Earl Williams, 57, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Henry County Community Health. He was born September 19, 1963 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of the late Donald and Ruby (Adkins) Williams.
A New Castle resident his entire life, Jesse worked for IDOC in the maintenance department at the New Castle Correctional Facility. He had been previous owner of J.W. Janitorial Service and The Café. He had also worked at Harvest Market. Jesse enjoyed helping people and holding neighborhood meetings. He loved fishing, hunting, guns, mowing, playing pool and golfing.
Survivors include his wife Tammy Williams, whom he married December 16, 1992; daughter, Amanda Ghallegher; son Tyler Pennington; grandsons, Dakota Goble and Sylas Pennington; granddaughters, Kyrie Henkel and Avah Pennington; sisters, Donna Sue Kelsay and Debbie Williams; brothers, Bobby Williams, Donald Williams, Jr. and Danny Williams; step sister, Sheryl Isom; step brother, Brian Isom; and several other family members.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Steproe.
