Jimmy D. Garrett, 78 of New Castle passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. He was born September 13, 1943 in Clinton County, Indiana, a son of the late Stanley and Madeline S. (Jennings) Garrett.
Jimmy loved playing golf. He enjoyed going to Indianapolis Colts games and traveling to Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Garrett; two sons, Jimmy (Sandy) Garrett and Dustin Garrett; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a step daughter Ashley (Brad) Webb.
In addition to his parents Jimmy, was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Van Volkenburgh and a sister, Beverly Garrett.
Burial will take place at a later date in Montezuma Cemetery in Montezuma, Indiana. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Jimmy at www.hinsey-brown.com .
