JoAnn King Cronk

JoAnn King Cronk, age 51, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Henry County Hospital. She was born on May 29, 1964 to Owen and Betty Swinson.

JoAnn met the love of her life, Timothy Cronk, on November 14, 1998 and they were married on May 14, 2011. Together they loved to travel around the Caribbean Sea. JoAnn loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. For over 30 years, JoAnn was a probation officer with the Henry County Probation Department. She was also a real estate agent with ERA Integrity Real Estate in New Castle. JoAnn was very passionate about her work. She was caring, loving, kind and compassionate. JoAnn never knew a stranger.

JoAnn is survived by her mother, Betty Swinson of New Castle; her husband, Timothy Cronk of New Castle; her children, Travis (Cara) King of New Castle and Shaylee (Troy) Gibbs of New Castle; stepchildren, Corey Cronk of Lebanon, IN, Tony (Diana) Cronk of Ft. Wayne, and Amy (Chris) Bell of New Castle; grandchildren, Logan, Matt, Collin, Madison, Paige, Aiden, Camden and Layne; and a sister Lea (Lee) Walker of New Castle.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her father, Owen Swinson of Sulphur Springs; grandparents, Odie and Ella White; R.S. and Bonalon Swinson.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at South Memorial Drive Church of God in New Castle with Pastor Chris Gammello officiating.
