JoEllen “Jody” L. Bell, 46, formerly of New Castle and currently of Williamston, SC passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was born September 28, 1974 in Muncie to the late Mark McDonnell and Joyce (Chandler) McDonnell of Williamston, SC.
She was a 1993 graduate of Blue River Valley High School. Jody’s hobby was her family, they were her life. She enjoyed swimming, boating and fishing.
In addition to her mother, Jody is survived by her husband, Terry Bell of New Castle; children, Cole Douglas Bell of Canton, OH, Ashley Nicole Williams of Williamston, SC and Derek Allen Bell of Williamston, SC; granddaughter, Luna Gray Bell of Canton, OH; siblings, Donald Wayne (Heather) Chandler of Anderson, SC and Luke (Kaylee) McDonnell of Indiana; nephews, Dayne Chandler and Burk Chandler both of Anderson, SC.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mark Donnell.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Pastor Alan Polston officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Springport. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial contribution may be given to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75231 or the Epilepsy foundation, 8301 Professional Place West, Suite 230, Landover, MD 20785.
