Joyce Ann Conyers

Joyce Ann Conyers, 66, of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Friday April 10, 2020. She was born on January 27, 1954 in Muncie Indiana, a daughter of the late Richard Miller and Patricia (Flick) Hillary.
A loving daycare provider, Joyce owned and operated Joyce’s Daycare for over 35 years. There were many activities in life that she loved to do and be a part of. She was a member of the Cornfield Cloggers, and Grand Avenue Baptist Church. A great enjoyment for Joyce was her Gal Pals group from the church. Joyce loved going to Beef and Boards and spending time with her grandchildren. She also found great enjoyment in planning and going on family vacations. A terrific lady, it could be said that Joyce was “so full of life.”
Joyce is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roger Conyers of New Castle; son, Brandon (Christina) Conyers of Pendleton; grandchildren, Nicole and Kora Conyers of Pendleton, and Samantha and Andrew Reece of Plainfield; siblings, Mike Miller of Muncie, Cindy (Peter) Dub of Noblesville, Theresa (Ed) Benton of Columbia NC, David (LeAnn) Hillary of Virginia Beach, Becky (Paul) Reece of Plainfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Brian Conyers.
Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, but please be prepared to wait as we are only limited to 10 guests in attendance at a time. Services will be private for the immediate family with Pastor Charles Dugger officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Summit Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Autism Speaks, 1060 St. Rd., Second Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
