Joyce Gregory, 93, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Henry Community Health in New Castle. She was born May 22, 1927 in Albany, Kentucky, a daughter of George G. and Sally D. (Ballew) McWhorter.
A homemaker, she loved cooking and sewing. Joyce faithfully read her bible and adored her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Lisa (Steve) George of Greenwood and Jeffry Gregory of New Castle; grandchildren, Alan Huddleson of Arizona and Laura Cooper of Indianapolis; sisters, Joan Caylor, Barbara Delpha and Dot Hurt; and brothers, Ireland McWhorter & Jim McWhorter.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willard; daughter, Patricia Herbert; sister, Doris Jones & Reba Fryman; and brothers, Ben McWhorter & Ward McWhorter.
Graveside services will be. 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2020 at Green Hills Memory Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Joyce at www.hinsey-brown.com .
