Katheryn Denzel Neal

Katheryn Denzel Neal, 65, of Middletown passed away surrounded by family Saturday, October 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born July 2, 1956 in Henry County, Indiana to Gladys (Willis) Copeland.

Kathy dedicated her life to family and racing. She was a cosmetologist before she began helping Jack with their car and racing business. She was active in showing Tennessee walking horses for many years.

She was deeply loved and admired for her generosity and dedication in always finding ways to help family and friends in any way she could. In her last days as she sat with family, one of her last requests was to kiss spooky and bear every chance she got and tell them “momma loves them”!

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Jack Neal; she leaves behind 4 daughters, Lori Kampfer (Martin) of Leawood, Kansas, Jami (Jason) Hamel of Pendleton, Denell (Ryan) Gedek of Middletown and Lisa (Robert) Donndelinger of Ft. Walton, Florida; three sons, Tim Neal of Anderson, Scott (Pam) Neal of Alexandria and Ryan (Whitney) Draper of Springport; grandchildren, Jason Neal, Samantha Neal, Ashley Kampher, Wesley Castor, Kaleb Castor, Savannah Hamel, Cody Sewell, Emma Draper, Cole Draper, Cody Hamel, Zackery Gedek, Drew McConnell, Dustin McConnell, Darin McConnell & Kirsten Donndelinger; several great grandchildren; siblings, Bobbye Allman, Johnnye Hendrix, Nikki Copeland, Robert Gethers, Mike Copeland and Jim Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gladys and Richard Copeland, Doyle Blackwell; brother, Doyle Blackwell, Jr. and a son, Jeremy Shane Reagan.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Garden. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Henry County Humane Society, 11 Midway Drive, New Castle, Indiana 47362.
