Keith B. Williams

Keith B. Williams, 71, of Mt. Summit passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Community North Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born January 29, 1951 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of Lloyd and Daphne (Rifner) Williams.
One word that best describes Keith would be, Warrior. Through all of his health issues and challenges over the years, he never complained and just enjoyed life the best he could. He loved spending time with his family especially at family gatherings. He was a 1969 graduate of Blue River Valley High School. For the past 23 years, Keith was employed by Beckett Bronze in Muncie.
Keith was a huge sports fan; he was a fan of the Pacers, Colts, IU and Purdue, where he has a nephew that plays basketball. He was also an avid NASCAR fan and attended the Brickyard 400 on an annual basis. Keith was a golfer and enjoyed playing at Tri County and Crestwood Golf Clubs. He also enjoyed playing games on his phone, reading, Sudoku and crossword puzzles. He was a member of the Mt. Summit Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Linda (Cross) Williams of Mt. Summit; his mother, Daphne Williams of New Castle; siblings, Karann (Melvin) Hawks of Mt. Summit, Gary (Dian) Williams of Sulphur Springs and Kathy McCall of New Castle; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Rick) Hamilton of Carmel; cousins, Marnetta Tucker of Anderson and Gregg (Skyler) Whitton-Cornelius of Texas; many nieces, nephews and other cousins.
In addition to his father, Lloyd Williams, Keith was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Lloyd & Martha Cross and cousins, Steve Tucker and Rick Whitton.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in Mt. Summit Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidneyindiana.org .
