Kimberly D. Hernandez

Kimberly D. (Gregory) Hernandez, 50, of Knightstown, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 3, 1969 in New Castle to Kenneth R. and Kathryn M. (Binion) Gregory.

A 1988 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School, she had worked for Boehringer Mannheim, John Blevins, Attorney at Law in Anderson, and most recently owned and operated with her husband, New Castle Pallet Co. She was an active member of New Beginnings Church in New Castle, and enjoyed gatherings with her family, friends, and church family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Bobby Hernandez of Knightstown; four children, Amanda Clendinin, Jackie Hernandez, stationed with the U.S. Army in Corpus Christi, TX, Chyna Hernandez, and Jadelyn Hernandez, both of New Castle; two grandchildren, Cheyenne Hartzell and Leland Maddox; her parents, Kenny and Kathy Gregory of Markleville; several aunts, uncles and cousins; “adopted” sisters, Karen, Debbie, Angie-girl and Kimmy Lane, and many longtime school friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Carrie Binion, and paternal grandparents, Jesse and Mary Gregory.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Mort Radford officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the funeral home.
