Kristi K. Pew, 54, of Spiceland passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at IU Hospital following a brief illness. She was born February 7, 1964 in Henry County to Orin Kenneth Jr. and Charlotte (Hudson) Pew.
She was a 1982 graduate of Tri High School. Kristi was very artistic and creative. She had a passion for animals. Kristi worked for the New Castle Correctional Facility as a graphic designer. She remodeled homes, doing the work herself.
She is survived by her father, Orin Kenneth Pew, Jr. of Spiceland; sister, Kathy (Derald) Grimwood of Eugene, OR; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews; special friend, Sharon Dickinson-Miller of Florida; aunts and uncles, Charles Cale (Ruth) Hudson of Lincoln, NE and Jack (Marilyn) Pew of Knightstown.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Kay Pew, brother, Kenneth Charles Pew and niece, Sarah Elizabeth Yuncker.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Kristi K. Pew Memorial Fund. You may express condolences or share a memory of Kristi at www.hinsey-brown .
