Leona Jean Grisham, 79, of Vandalia is now walking with her Heavenly Father. She went to see Him on Friday, November 23, 2018. She was born on December 13, 1938 in Adams County, Ohio.
Jean did in-home child care. She was a member for more than 35 years at the Vandalia Church of the Nazarene where she served as Missionary President, Sunday school teacher, Marriage Enrichment mentor and Janitor. For the past 24 years, she faithfully attended Christian Life Center. She was involved with Marriage Mentors and was a faithful prayer warrior for many.
Survivors include her two sons, Rick (Cindy) Grisham and Brian Grisham; one daughter, Teresa (Gary) Bowyer; nine grandchildren, Chad (Jennifer) Grisham, Christina Grisham, Casey (Heather) Grisham, Taylor (Chris) Moehl, Joshua Grisham, Saxzonee Grisham, Jaime Bowyer, Shelly (T) Wilcox, Kimberly (Derek) Niehaus; fifteen great-grandchildren, Callie, Coleman and Caitlin Grisham, Jacob Grisham, Ella, Carter, Sophia and Logan Moehl, Evanee Murray, Michael, TJ and Kyla Wilcox, Zoe, Abigail and Aaron Niehaus.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Christian Life Center in Dayton, OH. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Friday with Pastor Stan Tharp officiating. Burial will take place in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
