Leva M. "Hazel" Copley

Leva M. “Hazel” Copley, 85, of Greensburg and formerly of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She was born October 10, 1936 in Wayne County, Kentucky, a daughter of Charlie Caleb Morgan and Della Mae (Atkins) Bales.
Hazel was self employed, owning a shop in Metamora. She was a collector of porcelain dolls and was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
She was survived by an adopted daughter and was grateful for her friend, Donna Pittz.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Walker Copley, Jr.; brother, Freeman Caleb Morgan and sister, Mollie Lee Morgan.
Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at South Mound Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Hazel at www.hinsey-brown.com .
