Marion Steward

Marion Steward, 82, of Carthage, passed away Sunday March 15, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel. He was born February 8, 1938 in Rush County to the late Forest and Bertha (Rumple) Steward.
Marion Loved fishing, watching old western movies, playing his guitar and the Cincinnati Reds. He was a Volunteer Fire Fighter in Carthage for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Dorothy whom he married January 15, 1983, sons; Marion Allen Steward, Mark Anthony Steward and M. Kent (Tammy) Steward, step daughter; Misty Logan, granddaughter; Samantha Lynn Steward, great grandchildren; Danica and Jameson Steward, siblings; Gabby Steward, Floyd Steward, Alice Baker, Virginia Davis and Violet Mefford.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister; Carol Smith and brother; Jack Steward.
Services will be 3:00 pm Thursday March 19, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown with Pastor Charles Stroud officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
