Marsha S. Turpen, 80, of New Castle passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at her residence. She was born August 12, 1939 in Winchester, Indiana, a daughter of the late George and Frances (Brubaker) Mendenhall.
Marsha retired from the Indiana Sailors and Soldiers Home in Knightstown after 10 plus years of service. She loved bird watching, bowling and playing cards. She had a passion for life with a positive attitude and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Ashley (Jason) Whitehouse, Jamie Knipp, Meredith Knipp, LeiLani Turpen; nine great grandchildren; sister, Marlene Landfair; several nieces & nephews; along with many close friends and special friend, Cheri Fultz.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Turpen; son, Mike Turpen and daughter, Lora Knipp.
Burial will take place at Green Hills Memory Garden at a later date. You may express condolences or share a memory of Marsha at www.hinsey-brown.com .
