Martha Pearl Williamson

Martha Pearl Williamson, 98, of Shirley passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers. She was born October 6, 1923 in Shirley, the daughter of Carl and Gertrude May (Hankins) Williamson.

Pearl was a caregiver for many family and friends. She was a lifelong member of the Shirley Friends Church where she played piano and taught Sunday School. As a young lady she raised chickens to sell eggs to pay for a violin and lessons.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, John Williamson, Martha Kriner, Mary Mettler, Ruth Malone, Naomi Smith and Charity Kay Early.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Paul Williamson, Margaret Smalley, Ellis Williamson, Esther Williamson and Ernest Williamson.

Services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Jim Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
