Mary Agnes Frost, 83, of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 10, 1934 in Central City, KY, a daughter of the late Robert Elvis and Mae (Kyle) Vincent.
A hairstylist for over 40 years, she worked at Excel Salon in New Castle for most of those years. She enjoyed Bingo, quilting, embroidery, gardening, and especially enjoyed her flower garden. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and so enjoyed family gatherings and the annual family reunions. She and her husband operated “The Forge” Café on “I” Ave. in New Castle for many years. Some of her most special times were spent with her husband and their group of friends, bowling and playing cards.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Pattie Frost of Richmond, Ruth (Steve) Williams of Lewisville, and Ellen Frost of Shirley; grandchildren, Reuben Jones of Portland, OR, Joshua Jones of Dallas-Ft.Worth, TX, Jessica Jones (Ron Benner) of Dauphin Island, AL, Kiley (Matt) Wheatley of Pendleton, Kendra Williams of New Castle, and Dylan Williams of Lewisville; great grandchildren, Kyra and Elijah Jones, Angel Jones, Maddix Williams, and Miles Wheatley; brother, Joe Vincent of New Castle, two sisters, Nadine (Jim) Abshire of Knightstown and Glenda Thomas of Melbourne, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Frost, whom she married January 14, 1953; sisters, Lillian Ferrell and Edna Pearl Shafer, and a brother, Kenneth Vincent.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Bob Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition.
