Mary L. McDonald, 45, of New Castle passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at her home following a brief illness. She was born September 3, 1973 in Monroe, Michigan to Robert and Rebecca (Smith) Simpson.
Mary was a nurse’s aide at New Castle Health Care for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Bill McDonald; son, Brandon (Heather) McDonald; daughter, Brittney McDonald; 3 grandchildren, Xavier, Loki and Kenzie McDonald; adopted daughters, Alyssa Marconi and Annie Goodwin; father, Bob Simpson; sisters, Christine (Kevin) Simpson and Dawn Godfrey; brothers, Bryan (Stephanie) Simpson and Kyle Green; nieces, Jessica (Thomas) Vasquez, Angela (Carlos) Simpson, Kaylee Liles and Kylee Liles; nephew, Joey Liles; special friend, Melissa Helms.
She is preceded in death by her loving mother and best friend, Rebecca Simpson in 2008.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Matt Daffron officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. You may express condolences or share a memory of Mary at www.hinsey-brown.com .
