Megan Nicole Ewing

Megan Nicole Ewing, 40, of Knightstown passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Indiana University Hospital. She was born June 4, 1980 in New Castle to Steve and Roberta (Dinkins) Ewing of Spiceland.

Megan attended Knightstown High School until her freshman year then graduated from Tri High School in 1998. She worked at Community East Hospital and CVS as a Pharmacy Technician. Megan had many interests in her life including playing softball, music, traveling with friends and family, watching movies and caring for any kind of animal. Mostly, she loved being with her nieces, Lydia and Peyton. She was compassionate about helping people and even in death, she helped many others by being an organ donor.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Bobby (Megan) Ewing of New Castle; nieces, Lydia and Peyton Ewing; aunts, Lana Joy Brown of St. Pete, Florida, Nancy (Willard) Motsinger of Blanchester, Ohio; cousins, Sherry Brown, Eric, Brian and Todd Motsinger; and many other cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gene and Joy Ewing; maternal grandparents, Lowell and Mildred Dinkins; and special friends, LT Wilkinson and Mike Wilkinson.

Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Anthony Darling officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Humane Society, 11 Midway Drive New Castle, IN 47362.
