Nola Loujean Willis

February 15, 1939 - December 21, 2021

Nola Loujean Willis, 82 of Knightstown passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at IU Health Methodist in Indianapolis. She was born February 15, 1939 in Morehead, KY to the late Walter DeWitt and Rena (Black) Wilson. A homemaker, Nola was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Hagerstown and was part of the Faith Singing Group. She enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 67 years: John W. Willis whom she married April 4, 1954; children: Johnny Willis of Sunman, Frank Willis of New Castle, Melinda (Kenny) Dishman of Knightstown and Jeff (Lori) Willis of Lake Alfred, FL; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nola is preceded in death by her siblings, Joyce Conley, Jo Hinshaw, Geneva Hopkins, Sue Wilburn and Steve DeWitt. There will be no public services held.
