Pamela Kay Alexander

Pamela Kay Alexander, 73, of Greenfield and formerly of New Castle passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Golden Living Center in Greenfield. She was born November 9, 1947 in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late Floyd W. Cooney and Enzie L. (Ward) LaGrotto.

She was a 1965 graduate of Walter P. Chrysler High School. Pam was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and attended St. Michaels Catholic Church in Greenfield. She worked as a Military Pay Tech at Ft. Harrison for 38 years. She enjoyed spending time with the cross stitch group and with the Ft. Harrison retirement group as well as spoiling her grand kids after school.

Survivors include daughters, Tamara (Weryke) Rader of Greenfield and Amber (Kevin) Hite of Greenfield; step children, Sheri M. Alexander of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Robert B. Alexander of New Castle; sister, Debra E. (Donald) Schofield of Ft. Collins, Colorado; brother, Douglas D. (Kathleen) Cooney of Carthage; grandchildren, Benjamin Rader, Cameron Rader, Keegan Hite, Kayleigh Hite, Haley Brown, Zack Alexander and Shyianne Alexander; nieces, Christina Schofield, Heather Cooney and Stacy Cooney and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held Tuesday October 26 at 2:00 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle.
