Pamela Kay Kennedy

October 30, 1946 — April 13, 2020

Pamela Kay Kennedy, 73, of New Castle passed away Monday, April 13, 2020 at Community Hospital South in Greenwood. She was born October 30, 1946 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Jones) Harter.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. Pam enjoyed camping, boating, working around her yard, horseback riding, cooking and baking, especially her pies. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; her great grandchildren being her greatest joy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ross Leon Kennedy; two daughters, Stacy West and Shane Hirst; grandchildren, Kisha Horan, Chris West and Wes Hirst; great grandchildren, Reese & Rory Horan; and siblings, Gary Harter & Larry Harter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Cory Ross Hirst.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Green Hills Memory Garden with Pastor Steve Arnett officiating. The family requests that social distancing be adhered to and masks worn if available at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church, 1583 W 300 N, New Castle, IN 47362. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
