Patricia E. Lacy

June 5, 1926 — July 6, 2017

Patricia (Pat) E. Lacy passed peacefully from this earth to her home in heaven July 6 at Parker Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Pat was born to Rollin S. and Adeline (Kramer) Summers June 5, 1926 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. As a baby her family moved to Watertown, Wisconsin. Pat graduated from Watertown High School, June 1944. After High School, Pat moved to Muncie, Indiana to live with her uncle and aunt.

October 5, 1946 Pat married Lowell William (Bill) Lacy at Main Street Methodist Church in Muncie. They were married 45 years. Pat and Bill were supporters of Hillcroft Services in Muncie where their daughter Judy worked.

In 1971, Bill and Pat moved to the family farm near Blountsville. The Lacy Homestead Farm was a gathering place for family and friends. Pat loved to have friends and family for lunch after church on Sunday's. She was a good cook for a young lady who said she could not boil water when she married Bill. Pat loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would have a smile on her face when talking about her family.

Pats favorite scripture was Isaiah 41:10. Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Pat worked for Industrial Trust (now Star Financial), Bacon American and Kim Paint Company as a PBX Operator. She was involved with Ladies Aide with the Blountsville Congregational Christian Church where she was a member.

Survivors include her daughter Linda (Phil) Gibson, Blountsville, son Danny (Gerrilee) Lacy, Spring Arbor, MI; Granddaughters, Tricha (Ryan) Craig, Pendleton, IN and Shauna (Jeff) Jester, Springsport, IN; Grandsons, Kip (Summer) Lacy, Noblesville, IN, Luke Lacy, Spring Arbor, MI, Kirk Lacy, Shanghai, China, Evan Gibson, Toledo, OH; Great Grandchildren, Eli Gibson, Anderson, IN, Mac and Jackson Craig, Pendleton, IN, Nate Gibson, US Army (Fort Bliss, TX), Ty, Brandy, Bailey, Liam, Waylyn and Adelyne Jester, Springport, IN, Gracelyn and Harper Lacy, Noblesville, IN; A brother, Chuck (Sue) Summers, Baneberry, TN; Sister-in-law, Leni Summers, West Allis, WI; nieces, Lisa Flanigan, Jenny Nabor, Dawn Duncan and nephews, Mike, David and Matthew Summers, Steve and Richard Collins'

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Bill, daughter Judy, brother William (Bill) Summers and sister Rosemary Collins.

Calling will be at Blountsville Congregational Christian Church, August 2nd from Noon to 2:00 pm. Services will be at 2:00 with Pastor Kevin Holt and Pastor Jerry Bolin officiating. Burial will be at Blountsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hillcroft Services, 614 E Streeter Ave., Muncie, IN. The family would like to thank the staff at Parker Health & Rehabilitation Center for their kindness and care of their mother while a resident of the facility as well as New Hope Hospice, Marion, IN.
