Philip A. Jackson, 58, of Knightstown, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born April 21, 1960 in Rushville the son of Edward E. (Carol) Jackson & Marlene Jackson.
Philip was a 1979 graduate of Knightstown High School and worked at ACME Plumbing for 12 years. He enjoyed camping and loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing cards and pool, where he was known as a pool shark. He was a member of Wilkinson Church of Christ. His best hobby was spending time every day with his dad.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rene Jackson; sons, Jonas Jackson of Knightstown, Jeremiah (Angel) Jackson of Martinsville; daughter, Philishia Jackson (Chris McDougall) of Knightstown; son-in-law, Jacob Davis of New Castle; grandchildren, Joe, Faith, Grace, Darien and Rosealeea; his parents; siblings, Dan (Lisa) Jackson of Raysville, Sally McClurg of New Castle, Ron (Angie) Jackson of Shirley; step brother, David Dodd; step sister, Donna Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded death by a son, Vincent Jackson; grandparents, Lois and Wilbur Jackson; and step brother, Joey Dodd.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Ryan McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in Carthage Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Philip A.
