Phillip Merle Jackson

April 16, 1927 — July 24, 2019

Phillip Merle Jackson, 92, of Knightstown, born on April 16, 1927, left this world to be with his wife, Naomi and daughter, Barbara, in heaven on July 24, 2019.

He leaves behind his son, Wayne Jackson and daughter, Denise (Clifford) Stanley; his grandchildren, Kara (Scott) Lukens, J.P. (Megan) Stanley, Faron (Kris) Luce and Jimmy Stanley; his great grandchildren, Lea (Jon) Jordan, Jackson Lukens, Stella Luce and Charley Stanley; and a special nephew, Steven Ingram.

Phil was a hard worker all his life, from working on the family farm to retiring from Delco Remy. He was a member of the Knightstown Christian Church. He and Naomi enjoyed traveling which included seeing all 50 states and going to Europe. They wintered in Florida for many years enjoying the sun and fishing.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday, July 26, 2019 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM with Richard Thayer and Anthony Darling officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
