Rachael Roberts

Rachael Marie Roberts, 33, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at her residence. She was born June 24, 1986 in New Castle to Gary A. Roberts and Gayla Igo.

Rachael was a 2004 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School where she played softball and was a cheerleader. She attended Ivy Tech Community College and studied nursing. In her earlier years, she enjoyed gymnastics, volunteering at the Henry County Humane Society, modeling, and tap dancing, where she placed 5th in the Teenage America Contest. Rachael was a caring individual and loved spending time with her friends, family, but mostly her sons, Collin and Cameron.

Survivors include her sons, Collin and Cameron Stanley; parents, grandmother, Ina Roberts; three sisters, a special uncle, Vernon Roberts; several aunts, other uncles and cousins, including Autumn Roberts and Amy Oakes.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Earnest “Dale” Roberts; great grandparents, Bill and Freda Vitatoe; uncle, Steve Roberts; and a cousin, Kasie Roberts.

Services will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Don Raines officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition.
