Raymond Paul Morris

Raymond Paul Morris, 97, of New Castle passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Riverwalk Senior Living in Noblesville. He was born August 3, 1923 in New Castle a son of the late Guy Morris, Sr. and Edith (Harth) Morris.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. Raymond was a member of Veterans of Foreign War, American Legion, Knights of Pythias, and Shriner’s. He was a self employed mechanic, loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and boating.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelby Young of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Chelsea Young of Clayton and Kobi Young of Indianapolis.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Morris; second wife, Helen Lois Morris; son, Guy Morris, Jr.; daughter, Debra Evans; and a sister, Marylin Wilson.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at South Mound Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
