Reba H. Clements

Reba H. Clements, 81, of Carthage, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born October 12, 1939 in Indianapolis a daughter of Floyd and Helen (Schopmeyer) Woolf.

Reba was a graduate of Tech High School in Indianapolis. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and previously Little Flower Catholic Church in Indianapolis. She had been employed at Cecils, Burlington Coat Factory and Learners working in sales. Reba loved volunteering her time, especially with Knights of Columbus and Gibault Children’s Services. She was a seamstress making her own dresses and enjoyed shopping, traveling, cooking and square dancing.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William “Bill” Clements of Carthage; children, Denise (Chuck) Burke of Stafford, VA, Diana Clements of Greenfield, Robert (Linda) Clements of Saline City, IN, Donald Clements of Indianapolis, and Donna York of Greenfield; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Rosie Bidwell of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Donald York; a great grandson, Grayson Gold; and a sister, Reita Brown.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday, December 4, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. There will be a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. Due to Covid-19 and the governor’s mandate, face coverings will be required.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for the family at St. Anne Catholic Church in New Castle with Father John Hall officiating. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
