Rebecca Collier

Rebecca Collier, 56, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at her home. She was born May 10, 1963 in New Castle to Billy Gene and Wanda Lee (Shelton) Redwine.

She had worked at Raintree Programs in the 1980’s then started a house cleaning business in New Castle. Rebecca enjoyed crafts and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ed Collier; son, J.R. (Alycia) Sutton of New Castle; four grandchildren, Allison Jolley, Sophie Sutton, Braelyn Sutton and Jacob Hicks all of New Castle; four sisters, Angie Sutton, Betty Reynolds both of New Caste, Bobbie Neal of Indianapolis and Annie (Lonnie) Radford of New Castle; brother-in-law, Floyd (Pam) Collier of New Castle; sister-in-law, Diana (Eddie) Weaver of New Castle; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Tonya Mummert, a brother, Billy Gene Redwine, Jr. and her in-laws, Floyd and Anita Collier.

Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2019 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Visitation will be from 12 – 4 p.m. prior to the service.
