Robert W. "Bob" Lee

Robert W. “Bob” Lee, 66, of New Castle passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Henry Community Health. He was born April 22, 1954 in Rush County, Indiana, a son of the late Robert Allen and Doris (Graham) Lee.
He graduated from Rushville High School in 1972 and retired from TS Tech in August. Bob loved history, genealogy and enjoyed visiting cemeteries for genealogy. He was a past member of the Rush County Genealogy Society, where he had been a member for many years. He was an avid Notre Dame fan, especially football, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandson. In keeping with Bob’s giving spirit, someone will see the world more clearly now due to Bob’s corneas being donated through the Lion’s Eye Bank.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jo Ellen (Hensley) Lee; son, Dusty (Celesta Torok-)Lee of Fishers; grandson, Sora Robert Torok-Lee; siblings, Pamela (Leonard) Cranfill of Everton, Richard (Terri) Lee of Carmel, Roger Lee (Megan) of Fishers, JoElla Lee (Gary) of Gwynneville; & several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father & mother-in-law, Robert & Joann Hensley.
Public visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Services will be held privately, although you may view the service online live at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 7. Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville. Memorial contributions may be given to the Sora Robert Torok-Lee College Fund, c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 South Memorial Drive, New Castle, IN 47362. Due to Covid-19 and the governor’s mandate, face coverings will be required. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
