Ronnda Rivé Clarkson

Ronnda Rivé Clarkson, 55, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at IU Health Ball Memorial in Muncie. She was born April 16, 1965 in New Castle, the daughter of Thomas and RuthAnn (Wildey) Wimmer.
She was active in the Mt. Summit Christian Church where she had previously served as a deacon. She loved making crafts with the kids at Vacation Bible School and making cards for the service men to send to loved ones. To many she was known as “Mama Bear”, helping with Latchkey kids. Ronnda was a nurse and loved taking care of kids and the elderly. She had a passion for playing Dominos.
Survivors include her parents Thomas & RuthAnn Wimmer of New Castle; two children; John Ryan Hicks and Alexiana Hicks; grandchildren, Emmalee Hicks and Bobbie Turner; brother, Raymond (Melissa) Wimmer; niece, Amber (Justin) Delima; two nephews, Raymond & James Wimmer; special friends, Nancy Weesner & Mark O’Brien; along with many others that called her their aunt Nonna.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM– 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 with services following at 1:00 PM at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with James Petty officiating.
