Rosanne Lynne (Stults) Hardwick

Rosanne Lynne (Stults) Hardwick went to be with her Lord on the 1st day of January, 2021 due to complications of Covid-19.

She was born November 17, 1967. She was a 1986 New Castle Chrysler High graduate and then received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in 1990. Her employment included being a Naturalist at Hayes Regional Arboretum, Designer at Palladium-Item Newspaper, Sales Manager at Morgan Francis Flagpoles, Publication Designer at Original Tractor Cab Company, Financial Coordinator at Huffman Family Chiropractic, Advertising Sales for Great Deals Magazine, Program Specialist for Covance and maintaining her business of Flags a Fly’n.

She loved her God, family, people, and cats. She taught children’s school at her church, Pauline Avenue Church of God. She loved the study of the Bible and nature and to teach or talk about what she learned with others. She used arts and crafts as a way of teaching. She loved to listen to Christian music. She volunteered and administered a birthday blessings program for a local Nursing Home. She loved helping people and was a prayer partner to many.

Rosanne is survived by her near lifelong friend and husband of 19 years Paul Hardwick of New Castle; son, Jonathan Paul Hardwick, daughter Anna Rose Hardwick, both at home, mother Betty Joann Poindexter of New Castle; sister, Debbie (Joseph) Owens of New Castle, and many other relatives and in-laws, that include nephew, Jason (Tiffney) Owens and niece Joanna Owens, all of New Castle.

She was preceded in death by her father Ralph L. Stults and her step- father Ken Poindexter.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., Thursday with Rev. Ed Bowman officiating. Private burial will take place in Mooreland Cemetery. Face coverings and social distancing will be required. Memorial contributions may be given to the New Castle/Henry County Animal Shelter/Humane Society, 11 Midway Dr., New Castle, IN 47362.
